Welcome to VoteYesAshby.org This site has been put together by volunteer members of our community. Our goal is to spread the word about Ashby School’s upcoming operating levy election, reaching out to everyone we can. Ashby needs our help! The Ashby School is the keystone of our community and needs our help to survive. On November 3rd, the levy goes to ballot, so we want to make sure everyone makes an informed decision. If we don’t pull together and pass this levy, the effect will snowball down on all of us. Please take some time and navigate through this site. The facts speak for themselves, but here are some of the site’s highlights: Introduction: This section is a quick overview of the levy process. What is it? Why is it being proposed? Who does it affect? When is the vote? Area Schools: The PDF Files in this section outline the financial information for schools in our area. It’s easy to see that Ashby is not the first to propose an operating levy in our area. Frequently Asked Questions: What’s being asked around the District? Schedule of Events: Need more information or want to help out? Check out this section to see when school administrators will be speaking to groups/clubs around the community or when the next ‘Yes’ Committee meeting will be held. Slide Show: This page has a link to a Power Point slide show, which provides a quick overview of the operating levy proposal. It also includes a link to a Power Point Viewer, if you don’t have Power Point installed on your computer.
